Available in 2 Ton and 5 Ton models, these outdoor-rated units are built on a stainless steel frame and are pad mount ready for commercial and industrial installations. Multiple heat exchanger options are available to help match your system’s fluid compatibility and operating requirements.

Heat Exchanger Options

Copper Heat Exchanger

A dependable option for many general-purpose water cooling applications.
Copper heat exchanges are not recommended for closed loop reef/aquarium applications. Choose titanium for reef-safe systems.
Suitable for working pressures up to 10 PSI

Titanium Heat Exchanger

Recommended for applications where copper exposure is a concern.
Reef Tank Safe and highly corrosion resistant.
Ideal for marine, reef, and other sensitive water systems.
Suitable for working pressures up to 10 PSI

316 Stainless Steel Shell & Coil

Designed for higher pressure applications.
Suitable for working pressures up to 50 PSI.
Also available for anodizing baths containing up to 15% sulfuric acid.

Pump Recommendations

Recommended Pump: Danner Magnetic Drive 2400 GPH – 3600 GPH

Other pumps may be acceptable, however they must be rated for less than 10 PSI max pressure (for PVC shell heat exchanger only).
If you’re using a pool/spa pump or another pump rated in horsepower, check compatibility before installation. (for PVC shell heat exchanger only).
There is often a simple workaround that allows our chillers to cool higher pressure systems successfully. please contact support for more information.

Controller Notes

The controller constantly monitors your system’s incoming water temperature, therefore water flow is needed at all times to read current temperatures accurately.
When your water temperature rises above your desired set point, the controller tells the compressor to turn on and begin cooling.
Once your desired set point temperature is reached, the compressor will turn off.

Manufacturer Guidelines

Professional installation required: Split units must be connected by a licensed HVAC professional prior to use.
Outdoor rated / pad mount ready: Install on a stable, level surface with adequate clearance for airflow.
Continuous water flow is required for proper temperature monitoring and operation.
Units include a built-in flow switch designed to disable the chiller in the event of pump failure.
Copper option notice: Copper heat exchangers are not recommended for closed loop reef/aquarium applications. Choose titanium for reef-safe systems.
Condensation may occur depending on operating temperature and ambient humidity; plan your installation accordingly.
