Penguin Chillers started with a simple idea: a father-and-son duo, Dave and Eric, who wanted a better way to cool their aquarium. Their early experiments in the garage were so successful that friends and family started asking for their own chillers. And when Dave’s wife and Eric’s mother nearly kicked them out of the garage, they realized it might be time to take things to the next level.

Then, in 2011, Dave’s retirement sparked a new chapter for their venture. Transitioning from a hobby to a business, they transformed their garage operation into Penguin Chillers, bringing their designs beyond friends and family and into the real world. Over time, the operation grew into a full-fledged commercial fabrication shop with a passionate team of professionals.
